Arizona’s Water Future at Risk—Archie Proposes Fix

With Arizona’s water crisis worsening amid historic drought and overuse, gubernatorial candidate Archie is calling for immediate, community-driven action. Speaking at a town hall in Mesa this week, Archie unveiled a bold plan focused on conservation, local control, and long-term sustainability. “Water isn’t just a resource—it’s our future,” he told the crowd. “And we’re running out of time to act.”

Archie’s plan centers on three key actions: investing in large-scale water recycling systems, increasing support for water-efficient farming and landscaping, and giving local water boards more authority to manage regional supplies. He also emphasized the need for a statewide water transparency portal that would allow citizens to track usage and availability in real time. “You can’t manage what you can’t measure,” he said.

The candidate stressed that water policy shouldn’t be dictated by distant interests or temporary fixes. “This isn’t about politics—it’s about survival,” Archie said. “If I’m elected, we’re going to take back control of our water, protect it like the treasure it is, and build a future where every Arizonan can thrive.”
