Economy

Fighting for fair wages, lower food and gas prices, and union rights. The economy belongs to the workers.

Arizona’s working families are facing rising costs and shrinking paychecks, and Archie is stepping up with a bold plan to put workers first. At a recent event in Phoenix, he made it clear: “The economy belongs to the workers. It’s their labor that drives this state forward.” His vision focuses on fighting for fair wages, lowering prices on essentials, and strengthening workers’ rights to create a more just and thriving economy.

At the heart of Archie’s plan is ensuring that wages keep pace with the cost of living. He supports raising minimum wages and cracking down on unfair employer practices that suppress pay. “Nobody working full-time should have to live paycheck to paycheck,” Archie said. He believes fair pay is the foundation for a stable, thriving community.

But wages aren’t the only challenge. Archie also called out soaring food and gas prices, which are squeezing household budgets across Arizona. To tackle this, he proposes state measures that promote fair pricing, support local farmers, and encourage alternative energy sources to reduce dependence on volatile markets. “We have to make life affordable again,” he said.

Protecting the rights of workers to organize and bargain collectively is another key piece of Archie’s platform. He emphasized that unions are essential to creating safe workplaces and ensuring workers have a real voice. “When workers stand together, they gain strength,” Archie said. “I’m committed to defending and expanding those rights.”

Archie wrapped up his economic vision with a call to action, urging voters to back policies that prioritize fairness and dignity for all workers. “This is about more than just numbers,” he said. “It’s about respect, opportunity, and building a future where every Arizonan can thrive.”
